People with Hope thrive.

HopePHL inspires families, youth and children to thrive. Thanks to the support of our donors, our impact in 2025 included:
• Providing safe housing for over 400 individuals. • Connecting over 2,000 school-age children experiencing homelessness or other barriers with resources to support their educational goals. • Preventing 103 evictions and provided over $400,000 in emergency rental assistance. But this isn’t just data. These are life-changing outcomes for real people, like Angela and Darien (names changed for privacy). Angela (name changed for privacy) fled an abusive relationship while pregnant with her third child. Despite her quiet demeanor, she showed remarkable resilience and dedication to her family's well-being. As she built trust with our team, she shared experiences of her past, which included her children's witnessing of the abuse. With support from our team, she took legal action against her abuser, resulting in his incarceration, and gained full custody of her youngest daughter. Angela secured a part-time job and completed housing paperwork, leading to a permanent residence. She developed healthier coping strategies and improved her mental health. Grateful for the support from HopePHL, she has transformed into a stronger, more confident woman, ready for a new chapter of safety and stability. Darien, a 17-year-old high school student in the Arise program, was found at home during school hours due to his exhausting two-hour commute. Frustrated but determined to graduate, he agreed to transfer schools when the HopePHL Arise program staff offered assistance. They quickly collaborated with other HopePHL staff and identified a new school for him within 48 hours. Darien started attending shortly after and remains on track for graduation. Additionally, Arise provided him with a Wi-Fi hotspot and school supplies within 24 hours, ensuring a brighter future for him. |
