Any student experiencing housing insecurity in the School District of Philadelphia may be eligible for our services.

HopePHL combines school, student, and community input to educate, reduce stigma, and more effectively target students who qualify for McKinney-Vento supported services and help connect them and their families to the maximum number of services possible.
City Council Testimony - April 2025
On April 30, HopePHL, Valley Youth House, and Eddie’s House testified to City Council about the importance of educational and housing supports for children and youth experiencing homelessness. Testifying on behalf of HopePHL was Melissa Tsuei, Program Manager for Thrive.
